    This application works for some shoe types but not for all.WO2010056261 A1 shows an alarm tag which is removably attachable toa product without the need to use needles or adhesives. It includesa housing having a securing lining, a locking element arranged in the housing,and a jumper. The jumper has a first end with a locking part, which isinsertable into the housing, and a second end having a fixing member forattachment to the product. The jumper is slidably movable between an open position and alocked mode. The locking element engages with the locking part of the shackle. INthe locked position fixes the bracket between the securing lining and itfixing part of the jumper. In one embodiment, the safety device mayunlocked using a magnetic remover and in anotherembodiment, a mechanical device can be used instead.
    The engagement between the shackle and the locking element is a barrierintervention, which can be subject to abrasion, which is why it will be oneperformance degradation of the alarm tag over time and the number of times thatthe alarm tag can be reused will be limited.

    With this anti-theft device, different variants of the device are neededwith different predetermined values of torque for different kinds of goods, such asfabric, shoes, glasses, etc. The applicable torque is defined by the designon the anti-theft device and its various parts.     Description of preferred embodimentsThe alarm tag 1 in Fig. 1a is shown in an open position, where the alarm tag 1 is notattached to an item 2. The alarm washer 1 has a housing 30 and a base part 3.
    The base part 3 forms an opening 4, through which the product 2 can be inserted.
    The alarm washer 1 has a first clamping surface 5 on one side of the opening 4,which clamping surface 5 is fixed relative to the base part 3, and a secondclamping surface 6 formed on opposite side of the opening 4. The otherthe clamping surface 6 is movable relative to the base part 3. The item 2 is detachableclamped between the first and second clamping surfaces 5, 6 when the secondthe clamping surface 6 is brought against the first clamping surface 5 into oneclamping position, as shown in Fig. 1b.Fig. 2a and Fig. 2b show exploded views of an embodiment ofthe alarm tag 1. The alarm tag 1 is provided with a locking device 10 comprisinga first locking part 11 and a second locking part 12. The first locking part 11 isconnected to the base part 3 and the second locking part 12 is connected to itsecond clamping surface 6. The housing 30 substantially encloses the locking device10. The second clamping surface 6 is connected to the housing 30 throughengagement between an outer edge 36 of the second clamping surface 6 with ainner edge 35 of the housing.

    When the first and second locking parts 11, 12 engage with each otherthey counteract the relative movement between the base part 3 and the otherclamping surface 6. When the second clamping surface 6 is brought against oneclamping position, the first and second locking parts 11, 12 perform amainly translational movement relative to each other.
    The first locking part 11 is here fixedly connected to the base part 3 and itthe second locking part 12 is fixedly connected to the second clamping surface 6. 1 aAs an alternative embodiment, the first locking part 11 can be fixedly connected tothe second clamping surface 6.In the embodiment shown in Fig. 2a and Fig. 2b, the locking device 10and the second clamping surface 6 arranged on opposite sides of the base part3.In this embodiment, the first locking part 11 comprises a pin shaft 13and the second locking part comprises a gripping device 40, 41, 42, 50, whichengages with the pin shaft 13. The head of the pin is firmly connected herewith the base part 3.
    The gripping device 40, 41, 42, 50 comprises a biasing device50, a guide 40, 41 and locking bodies 42. The guide here comprises a locking bowl 40and a locking ball holder 41. The seat part 45 of the locking ball holder 41 is provided with a hollowinner region and openings 46 in its circumference. Seat part 45 of the locking ball holder 41is located inside the locking cup 40 when the gripping device 40, 41, 42, 50 is brought againsta locked position when the second clamping surface 6 is brought against oneclamping position. The locking bodies 42 here consist of three locking balls 42, which aredisposed in and fits snugly in the locking ball holder 41. The diameter of the locking balls 42is larger than the diameter of the openings 46 in the locking ball holder 41. In othersembodiments of the alarm tag 1, the number of light balls 42 may vary, but should beat least one, preferably at least two. The seat part 45 of the locking ball holder 41 isgradually tapering from an upper edge of the seat portion 45 to a lower edge ofthe seat part 45. Alternatively, the entire locking ball holder 41 may be tapered.
    The locking cup 40 is also tapered, from an upper edge to a lower edge. INIn other embodiments, the degree of taper of the locking cup 40 may vary.
    The locking cup 40 is located in a cup-shaped countersunk surface formed in the housing 30.
    The biasing unit 50 affects the operation of the gripping device40, 41, 42, 50 and in this embodiment is a spring. The biasing unitHowever, 50 can be any elastic body.     The lock ball holder 41 can thus be the primary operative part withwith respect to loosening and holding the pin shaft 13.
    The pin shaft 13 may be provided with notches, circumferential grooves or wedges,or flat surfaces in an otherwise round pin circumference to get a more efficientholding the pin shaft 13 by the gripping device 40, 41, 41, 50.
    Authorized removal of the alarm tag 1 from the item 2 is performed with amagnetic remover. Thus, at least the seat portion 45 should be offthe locking ball holder 41 be made of a material which is attracted to a magnet. The houseKnob part 31 is placed against or held in close proximity to itmagnetic remover. The remover exerts a magnetic force that comesto act on the seat part 45 of the locking ball holder 41 and pull it out of the locking bowl 40.
    This force will cause the biasing unit 50 to be compressed thenthe magnetic force overcomes the biasing force ofthe biasing unit 50. When compressing the biasing unit 50the lock ball holder 41 will be raised from the lock bowl 40 and consequentlythe locking balls 42 will separate and loosen the pin shaft 13 forremoval of the alarm tag 1 from the item 2.
    The alarm washer is further provided with a compression spring 51, the pin shaft13 is located in a central channel in the compression spring 51.
    In the housing 30 there is a space 20, in which one or more security elementsand / or identification elements can be placed.lfig. 4 shows a cross-sectional view of an embodiment of the alarm tag 1 takenalong the line A-A shown in Fig. 3a.
